A year ago today I woke up to light from the window and a kiss on the forehead, and I doubt I’ll ever again reach the level of bliss that came from the realization that I wasn’t dreaming.

11: are you seriously happy with where you are in life?
-I’m getting incredibly close to being out on my own, and that’s all I’ve cared about for a really long time. I don’t like not being able to spend that much time with Jude, and being able to spend even less time with my friends, but I am working towards something, and I fall asleep next to the person I love every night. I can’t ask for any more than that right now.

01: tell me the truth, what made you start liking the person you like right now?
-He made me feel better without hesitation or asking why, or even doing anything particularly special. He put his arm around my shoulders and fed me like a horse and gave me a nickname that never even made sense for a second. And by the time he invited me into the driver’s seat and kept me warm while the sun came up on the beach I knew I was in for it.

10: is there one person you want to be with right now?
-Jude is in my lap and Woody is upstairs so I have everyone I need.

20: are you slowly drifting away from someone?
-I feel like I’m drifting away from just about everyone thanks to my erratic work schedule, but I do what I can to keep things together. If there’s one person in particular it’s Elissa. Considering I can barely find time for my friends who live a few minutes away, it only makes sense that it’s hard for me to stay close to someone who’s states away. Regardless though, that girl’s my best friend and when she gets back to Florida it’ll be like she never left.

-I had to drive out to San Jose this morning to give Kevin a ride home, haha, so it was a few hours ago.
